Well stocked outward bound shop. Products reasonably priced. Helpful staff who know their trade.

Good equipment at good prices

Jacamo

Quite pricey for the quality of the clothing but a decent range for plus sized men. Possibly the only good shop for plus sized male clothing in the area. So much better than buying online

Store is upstairs and selection is quite limited. Good products at good prices. My only gripe is male staff member wasn't comforting and approachable at all. When I did ask for information on products, I received short worded answers with no alternative options.

Mountain Warehouse

Shop is a little cramped with lots of stock on the shop floor. Could not have asked for better service though. Staff were knowledgeable about their products and we were approached by no less than 2 employees for help in our relatively short visit.

All good

Halfords

I've been a few times to get wipers, bulbs replaced they're quite often busy so there can be a wait. Was there today as battery on my car's been acting up, I thought I needed a new one. Guy checked it for me and told me battery was fine but needed charged. I'm not very technical so he explained what id need to do, showed the best charger, saved me £30.

Today had cd player /radio fitted by Richard at straiton due to previous player being faulty. Very understanding team regarding previous player issue ,absolutely no problem with exchange and swap over ,great installation by Richard fitted in said time. Fantastic customer service with all staff at Halfords loanhead. James

Klondyke

Mortonhall, Frogston Road East, Edinburgh EH16 6TJ, UK – 0131 664 8698

Had coffee outside at the newly renovated restaurant at the Klondike Garden Centre and it has put me in a good mood for the day. The staff are charming. They brought water for our dog and the coffee and cakes for us were delicious. There is no better more peaceful view in the whole of Edinburgh. If you want a quiet moment in the hurly-burly of life this is the place to go.

Excellent place to shop for garden plants, equipment and accessories. A well laid out, bright and airy store which makes for a pleasant shopping trip. Easy to find what I wanted and at reasonable prices too. Was undergoing renevation during my last visit so probably didn't see it at its absolute best, but would certainly shop here again.
